LAFC returned to BMO Stadium Saturday night and edged FC Dallas 1–0, extending their unbeaten start to the 2026 MLS season. The club remained among the four teams with perfect records through the first three matches.

Dallas made Los Angeles work for the result, with both teams creating chances and forcing several saves from each goalkeeper throughout the match.

After a quiet first half with no goals, LAFC took the lead just before the hour mark thanks to a finish from Martínez, his second league goal of the season.

Dallas pushed forward late searching for an equalizer, but Hugo Lloris stepped up with five saves on the night. His biggest moment came deep into stoppage time, denying Petar Musa to preserve the clean sheet.

FC Dallas finished with more shots overall, outshooting Los Angeles 15–10, though LAFC held a slight edge in shots on target at 6–5.

The result secured a 1–0 victory and marked the best start to a season in LAFC history at 3–0–0.
