LAFC fell behind late in the first half after Dejan Joveljić scored for Sporting KC. Eddie Segura equalized just before the break, and Denis Bouanga converted a second half penalty to give LAFC the lead. Bouanga added an assist in stoppage time, finding Olivier Giroud to finish the match.
