NASHVILLE — A point at home adds another tally to Nashville’s historic season. After securing the 2026 Supporters’ Shield last week vs CF Montréal, Nashville SC found themselves in a scoreless draw with Philadelphia Union Wednesday night. The lone point gives Nashville the most single season home points in MLS history with 44.
Eager to clinch their playoff berth, Philadelphia held off a rotated lineup from NSC. Union punched their ticket to the tournament while Nashville look to chase the overall single season point record set by Inter Miami in 2024 with 74 points. Sitting at 71 points, NSC face a must win and draw in their final two matches of the MLS season. A scoreless 90 minutes allowed Newcomer of the Year candidate and Man of the Match, Brian Schwake to secure his 15th shutout of the season - one away from tying the single season record set by Tony Meola in 2016 with the Kansas City Wizards.
200 club. Daniel Lovitz joins Hany Mukhtar and Alex Muyl as the only players in club history to reach 200 appearances in blue and gold.
Music City look to protect the Castle and remain undefeated at home with the final match of the regular season at GEODIS Park this Sunday, November 1. For Fan Appreciation Night, Nashville SC host NY Red Bulls at 3:30pm CT with a special presentation after the match to lift the 2026 Supporters’ Shield trophy for the first time in club history.
