NASHVILLE — Nashville SC and Club América played to a 0–0 draw in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup Quarterfinals at Geodis Park. Both teams had stretches of possession and created chances throughout the match but were unable to find a breakthrough, leaving the series level heading into the return leg in Mexico City.

Nashville SC returned to the castle last night to face Club América in the CONCACAF Champions Cup Quarterfinal Round series. Despite multiple attempts from both sides, the score was 0-0 at the end of the 91st minute.

Club América fans packed Geodis Park with vengeance in their yellow, red, and blue colors to support the boys from Mexico City. In 2023, the two teams went head to head in a hard fought Leagues Cup 2-2 regulation battle that resulted in NSC taking the win on home soil with a 6-5 PK shootout.

After a slow first half Tuesday night, the pace increased after Hany Mukhtar received a yellow card in the 53rd minute. NSC remained majority of possession with shots falling short of the back of the net. Brian Schawke recorded four saves making it his seventh clean sheet of the season.

The boys in gold remain undefeated at home in their 2026 campaign. They will take flight to play Club América once more in a decisive match next Tuesday, April 14, at Mexico’s Estadio Banorte.
