COLORADO RAPIDS VS. LAFC
LAFC opened the night by honoring club legend Giorgio Chiellini for joining the team’s ownership, then carried the momentum onto the pitch with a dominant display against the Colorado Rapids.
Just six minutes in, Colorado’s night unraveled as Jackson Travis was shown a direct red card for a hard foul on Sergi Palencia.
Right before the half, Bouanga weaved through defenders and earned a penalty after being fouled inside the box, converting from the spot for his 50th MLS goal with LAFC.
LAFC continued to capitalize on the man advantage after the break, with Nathan Ordaz netting their second goal just two minutes into the half in the 47th minute.
LAFC kept the pressure on and added a third after brilliant tiki-taka play in midfield, with Bouanga threading a perfect ball into the box for Timothy Tillman, who set up Javairô Dilrosun to score his first goal with the Black & Gold.
