ORLANDO — Orlando City SC earned a 1-0 victory over San Diego FC on Saturday night at Inter&Co Stadium, securing all three points and a clean sheet in the first meeting between the two clubs.

Orlando found the breakthrough in the 28th minute. Justin Ellis played the ball across to Antoine Griezmann, who calmly finished with a right-footed shot into the left corner to give the Lions the lead.

San Diego pushed for an equalizer after halftime, but Orlando’s defense remained organized and held firm. Maxime Crépeau made two saves to preserve the shutout.

Orlando City held on for the 1-0 victory, earning an important three points at home.
